I don’t usually post twice during a day, but I had to get both posts up today! Hope you don’t mind! Let me tell you some about our Awesome Family night!
My family had a Fabulous time last night at the Disney on Ice event at Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte, NC. I am still tickled over the chance to attend and review it for you. Don’t worry there is still time to go see it, they are in town a few more days. Go grab those tickets. Boys and girls alike with LOVE this show.
It was my son’s first trip uptown.
It was his first show like this as well, and well, I think its safe to say he Loved it.
It had Cars, It had Toy story. It had Ariel. It had Tink. Like I said, something for everyone. The effects were spectacular and nothing short of Disney magic.
My little guy kept trying to grab the bubbles going down. At not-quite-two, I was surprised with how much he kept up with the story and stage. I Loved the toy soldiers coming on screen. Intermission was great, including my daughter calling it half-time- good football girl that she is. Hubby did say he wished they hadn’t closed down half the men’s rooms and made them into ladies. He had to walk halfway around the arena to find a men’s room- so men- beware. However, us ladies know what a wonderful, fantabulous idea this is!
Though the extras can be pricey, its about the full experience. We got 2 bags of cotton candy that come with hats- a flower or a cars McQueen hat. It was $20. So bring some extra spending money. You can get the sno-cone in the souvenir cup for $15. Popcorn is $4 – or as the vendors say walking around- the cheapest thing sold there
. It was cold in there too. We all had long sleeves and long pants, but could have used a jacket as well.
Go. Enjoy. Make some memories!
