Healthy Homemade Popsicles

DIY popsicles healthy homemade

We have these Popsicle molds that we purchased on Amazon. We have prime. They are super easy to make your own popsicles. For this quick treat, we used a container of Silk Smoothie mix. It meets all of our allergy issues (dairy, nuts, eggs, strawberries, bananas and corn). I just poured it directly into the molds and place the leak proof cap on it and place them in the freezer like this.

Now you can also lay them horizontally on the shelf and they will not leak out either. They are flexible, and the popsicle pops right out and is able to be squeezed up to eat when ready. There are other easy to make smoothies we use as well. Another simple one is using our blender and adding raspberries,  blueberries, or any other fruit to a plain or vanilla soymilk and some ice. Sometimes I will add some honey for a little sweetener. It is really easy, and having these reusable popsicle molds is wonderful. We easily rinse these out using hot water in our sink. You can check out reviews for them on Amazon as well. We have been very happy with them and surprised with how nicely the top seals the liquid.

What is your favorite popsicle recipe? Do you make them often? Do you have a favorite smoothie recipe that could be used to make popsicles? Feel free to share your recipes!
